Today’s post is a shout out to a person who has had a lot of patience with me during this whole re-model process. No, it’s not my hubby who, though, should get a separate shout out for putting up with me and this kitchen for a long time. No, today’s recognition goes to the person who has been handling our appliance order, M. See, I have been the classic waffler when it comes to the appliances. There were two appliances I was stead fast with: the fridge and freezer.
The rest- the dishwasher, the hood and even the range… well… let’s just say I burned up the e-mail circuit switching from one to another. And all the while M. was there calmly receiving my wishy-washiness and being ever so accommodating. I couldn’t get it together with the hood for example. I wanted a simple yet sleek hood that had at least 600 CFMs, but was cost-effective. I think over 15 emails passed before I finally made a decision. It ended up being the very first hood I selected. The dishwasher changed 4 times and the range 5 times all because I couldn’t remember the correct model number. Then to throw in a clinker Huan offered me the chance to upgrade and even though I tried to resist, I couldn’t. That required 3 additional emails. In the meantime, M. was giving advice on which were good choices and which ones I should pass on. In the end he was honest and patient.
All in all, M. is one cool dude. He could have easily said “tough nougy” once the order was placed and our hands shook. But instead, he was ever so polite and bent over backwards to help me out. I’ve got a new friend.
